Admission Fee to Independence Village Duplexes A resident is entitled to occupy the duplex upon payment of the admission fee. The admission fee does not give the resident proprietary right to any property. The admission fee guarantees priority admission status to Independence Court Assisted Living Center and Perry County Nursing Home, subject to the payment of the applicable monthly charges for these facilities.
Your actual cost will be quoted at the time you meet with the Executive Director of Independence Court. How Your Refund is Applied If your residence is terminated for any reason during a trial period of 30 months, 100% of the admission fee will be refunded less a 5% processing fee and a 1.5% per month service charge assessed for each month (or fraction there of) of residency. If your residence is terminated for any reason after the trial period of 30 months, 50% of your admission fee will be refunded. Your Monthly Service Charge The monthly Service Charge is payable each month. A monthly pro-rated fee begins the day a resident occupies the duplex. Duplex Service Charge: $595.00/month This Service Charge includes utilities, maintenance, lawn care, snow removal, housekeeping, building insurance, bus service or courtesy car, and all campus activities. Residents may purchase a meal plan entitling them to the noon meal at Independence Court Assisted Living Center. This optional meal plan is $75.00 per month.
